Think you’re too advanced for the Beginner Workshops? Lets find out! At the intermediate bonsai workshops, we skip the introduction to bonsai basics and demonstration, and jump straight into more in-depth bonsai development, care, and maintenance.

What to expect:

1. Intermediate lesson on bonsai development, structure, design, care calendar, and maintenance. Emphasis will be on topics related to the current season of bonsai development. 

2. Journey through the nursery to select from a range of pre-bonsai with sufficient development to apply your new knowledge. 

3. Hands-on help and guidance to style and sculpt your pre-bonsai into a masterpiece.

Ticket Information:

For the intermediate workshops, trees are not included. You can either bring your own bonsai or purchase a tree for the workshop. Trees suitable for the intermediate workshop start around $30. Basic tools and wire will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring or purchase them.

For the Intermediate Workshops, we strongly recomend students take a Beginner Bonsai Workshop or have equivalent experience in Bonsai.
