The Corkscrew Willow (Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa'), native to China, is known for its unique twisted branches and contorted trunk, which give it a corkscrew-like appearance. This tree requires full sun and plenty of water, is hardy to zones 4-8. The Corkscrew Willow is a unique choice in bonsai due to its interesting shape and small/narrow leaves.
