The American Elderberry (Sambucus canadensis) is a native shrub that can be found throughout North America. These cuttings are taken during winter dormancy. They can easily be stored in a cool, most location throughout the winter, or stuck directly into rich soil outdoors. We recomend protecting them with leaves/mulch if planted outside during winter.
