Join BlackRoot Farms at Red Sash Brewing for some Beer-drinking and Branch-bending!

Whether you're getting started on your bonsai journey, or just looking for an excuse to drink a beer and learn about bonsai, come have one on the house at a local KC brewery and take something home you won't regret!

What to Expect

1. Check in, and get your 1st Beer on the house!

2. Introduction to the art of bonsai, tree basics, and bonsai care (~20-30 minutes).

3. Demonstration of bonsai pruning and styling (~20 minutes).

4. Start creating your bonsai masterpiece with our help!

5. Stick around for another round before taking your new bonsai home!

Ticket Information

Tickets are $65 per tree per person and include the educational rambling by yours truly (Hi, I'm Eliot), bonsai pruning/styling demo, your first beer, training wire/tools, and of course, your bonsai tree! While gloves are provided, feel to bring your own!

The tree species we bring varies based on the season and availability. Feel free to reach out in advance about which trees will be available at the next workshop!
