Dwarf Jade Bonsa - Mame
Dwarf Jade Bonsai (Portulacaria afra)
Small but mighty—this little bonsai has been lightly styled and potted into a ~3" ceramic bonsai pot (pot style and color will vary). The thick trunk base and early branch structure give it a great head start, whether you want to continue shaping or just enjoy it as-is.
Dwarf jade is a tough little succulent with bright green, glossy leaves and great tolerance for indoor life. It can handle missed waterings, bounces back from pruning, and thrives with plenty of sun. With time, the trunk thickens nicely and the compact leaves make it a reliable bonsai candidate—even for total beginners.
📢 Tropical species. Not cold hardy—bring indoors when night temperatures drop below ~50°F, but grow outdoors during warmer months for best growth.
Care tips:
Let soil dry between waterings; avoid overwatering
Prefers full sun for strongest growth
Rotate occasionally for even growth
Prune to maintain shape and encourage branching
